“Teach the art of language. ELA should not be reduced to 'English,' rather is should be the celebration of constructing language that finds joy in the clever construction of a poem, beautiful imagery painted across a page of prose, or a thought-provoking text that presents an ethical conundrum. It is essential that we appreciate and recognize the language as a contribution to art.”
